Win/loss statements /FanDuel
FanDuel win/loss statement
The reason you cannot find it is that FanDuel does not call it that. The document is the Player Activity Statement and it lives under Wallet.
How to get it
- 1
Sign in, then open your account page
Works the same in the app and in a browser. You want the main account area, not the settings screen.
- 2
Look under Wallet for Activity statement
FanDuel's own help centre points you at Activity statement inside Wallet. The name is the reason people cannot find it: FanDuel does not label it win/loss anywhere in the interface.
- 3
View it, or download it for your records
You can read the summary on screen or export it. Export it. The whole point is having a copy that does not depend on the account staying open.
- 4
Use Transaction History for the detail
The activity statement is a summary. Transaction History is the itemised version and can be sorted by month, by product (sportsbook, casino, DFS) and by transaction type. This is where you go when the summary and your memory disagree.
Sportsbook apps rearrange their menus more often than casinos do, and the layout also differs by state. If Wallet does not show it, search the FanDuel help centre for "activity statement".
What is in it
FanDuel describes it as a summary of your wallet and gameplay activity. That is broader than a casino statement in one way and narrower in another.
- ✓ Deposits and withdrawals
- ✓ Bets placed and winnings paid
- ✓ Casino and DFS activity, filterable separately
- ✕ Anything you played on a different sportsbook
- ✕ Cash play at a physical casino
- ✕ A figure the IRS will accept on its own
FanDuel says it plainly
The activity statement is not a tax document. It is a convenience summary of transactional movement. Every dollar of it is real, and none of it was prepared to satisfy an auditor.
Questions
Why can I not find anything called a win/loss statement?
Because FanDuel does not use that name. Its document is the Player Activity Statement, and its own help centre notes that people sometimes call it a win/loss statement. If you are searching the app for the phrase you read on a forum, you will not find it. Look under Wallet for Activity statement.
Is the FanDuel activity statement a tax document?
No. FanDuel states directly that it is not a tax document, describing it as a summary of your wallet and gameplay activity: deposits, withdrawals, winnings, bets and so on. The document that is a tax form is the W-2G, which FanDuel issues separately when a win crosses a federal reporting threshold.
Does it cover FanDuel Casino as well as the sportsbook?
Yes. Transaction History lets you filter by product, so sportsbook, casino and daily fantasy can be pulled apart. That matters at tax time because the three are the same taxable category but wildly different in volume, and a casino session count buried inside a year of sports bets is hard to reconcile with anything.
What if my account is closed or self-excluded?
You lose the self-service route, and you are into a support request. This is the strongest practical argument for exporting the statement every January rather than assuming it will be there: a document that lives inside an account you may not always have access to is not a record you control.
